The Falmouth Commodores are proud to offer The Creighton Scholarship to deserving high school students who are residents of Falmouth.

George Creighton was a very active, long time volunteer in Falmouth youth sports and baseball in particular.  This scholarship is named in his honor.  Because of Mr. Creighton's long commitment to volunteerism, the main criteria for receiving a scholarship is community involvement.

Academic achievement, sports participation and financial need are also factors in determining scholarship winners.  Any Falmouth resident and high school student can get applications for the scholarship from the guidance department at Falmouth High School.

In 2008 the Commodores awarded six scholarships totaling $3000 to Beth Brennan, Justin Campbell, Hala Coker, Ania Hammer, Katelyn Kotfila, and Amy Whited.  Pictured are 2008 George Creighton Scholarship recipients Amy Whited and Beth Brennan with Jerry Reilly.
